About the event
The Work of Reconnecting was designed in the late 1970s by Joanna Macy, an environmental activist, Buddhist philosopher, systems thinker, and respected international leader for her 50 years of work in the civil rights, global justice, and ecological movements, to foster willingness and capacity to take active roles in healing the world. It has spread around the world, helping thousands of people around the world learn how to organize and act courageously in the face of rapid social and environmental degradation.

The program is composed of four spirals: [Feeling gratitude] → [Appreciating the pain of the world] → [Seeing with new eyes (expanding the concept of self/perceiving time in a larger context)] → [Moving forward (grasping an inspiring vision)]. It is very warm and powerful, and gently invites you to a new way of perceiving yourself and reality that you normally do not experience. Another feature is that there are many works that utilize and cultivate the power of imagination that people have.

There are many different types of work, but in this workshop, we will focus on experiencing how to feel gratitude and see things with new eyes . It will be three hours, but it will take you to a perspective you have never imagined.

She has been providing grief therapy and trauma care since 2011, and U-Theory-based organizational and dialogue process design and facilitation since 2018. In addition, after breaking down in 2020, she is currently studying the bioholistic approach to bodywork, "craniosacral biodynamics."
